God Is Fighting "For" You, and it Gives Him Great Pleasure to Fight "For" You!

Good Morning My Loves,

Growing up in South Modesto made me a tough cookie. Because it was an impoverished and rough neighborhood, I had to learn to fight to survive. I’ve always been petite, and I was the smallest girl in my class. Being small was like painting a target on my back for bullies who liked to take the lunch and ice-cream money away from smaller kids. This happened shortly after I started attending Brett Harte Elementary school. My daddy was a light weight fighter in his younger years, so he took me out in the garage, put boxing gloves on me, and taught me to defend myself.

I learned to fight. I also kept my lunch and ice-cream money. I remember some big girls threatening my little sister (who was actually bigger than me), and I told her to go on home, and I’d take care of them. I took care of them alright! LOL

I remember the indignation I felt, knowing that those bullies were going to hurt my little sister who had done nothing to them. I felt good being the “bigger” sister (who was actually smaller), who got to take care of my “little” sister (who was actually bigger than me).

I’m sure it felt good to her to know that someone was FOR her. I know it felt good to me to be FOR her. To this day she calls me her “Little, big sister!:-)”

As I was recalling this story this morning, I felt that some of you need to know:

1. Greater is He that is IN you, than he that is in the world.”

1 John 4:4 (AMP)

4 Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]

2. God is FOR you, and if He is FOR you, who can be against you?

Romans 8:31 (AMP)

31 What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?

3. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Isaiah 54:17 (AMP)

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed;

And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn.

This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord

4. He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him, because He cares for you!

1 Peter 5:7(AMP)

7 casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

It gives Him great pleasure to fight FOR you. He wants to prosper you. He wants to defend you! Don’t stress or worry about anything! PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING, and TRUST GOD WITH EVERYTHING! Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you! He’s going to take care of you, and your enemies! He’s got your back!
