Have Determined Faith

Good Morning My Loves,

I was meditating on the word “determination” this morning, and I heard the Lord say, “Those who are not willing to go after what they want with determined faith, miss out on the miraculous. However, those who are willing to go after what they want with determined faith, experience the miraculous!”

It takes determined “active faith” to receive our healing, see our dreams come true, and to succeed.

One of the best examples of determined faith is found in the book of Mark, when some friends of a paralyzed man hauled him up on a roof, and tore a whole in it so they could lower him in the building where Jesus was ministering. These guys had determined faith! They knew that if they could get their friend to Jesus he would be healed!

Mark 2:4-5, 10-12 (AMP)

4 When they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Jesus; and when they had dug out an opening, they let down the mat on which the paralyzed man was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their [active] faith [springing from confidence in Him], He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”…

…He said to the paralyzed man, 11 “I say to you, get up, pick up your mat and go home.” 12 And he got up and immediately picked up the mat and went out before them all, so that they all were astonished and they glorified and praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

Just knowing that Jesus could heal their friend wasn’t enough. They had faith, but they needed determination to get him in the presence of Jesus. Sitting around hoping it would happen wasn’t doing them any good. They had to MAKE IT HAPPEN! It required ACTION!

When Jesus saw their determined “active faith,” He responded by healing him.

-What is it that you need today?

-How bad do you want it?

-How determined are you to get into His presence?

-Do you have a made up mind?

-Do you have an, “I’m NOT going to take NO for an answer attitude!?

-Do you have an, “I’m not going to let anything stop me from being in the presence of Jesus mindset!?”

I want to encourage you to press through your flesh, and whatever is trying to hinder you from getting into His presence today. Make it your #1 priority. Be determined. Come expecting. Because, everything you need is found in His presence, and when you come with determined faith, you will receive!
