Remember the Lord Who is Great and Awesome, and With Courage From Him Stay Together and FIGHT!
Good Morning My Loves,
When we are experience a season of warfare, it’s important to let the enemy know that we do not fear him. We must take our prayer life to another level, be on guard, AND CARRY ON WITH THE WORK THAT GOD HAS CALLED US TO with our sword ready. We must take authority over satan, bind and rebuke him in the name of Jesus, command him to flee, and then intentionally start remembering all the wonderful things that God has done in our lives. Going back to previous victories and rehearsing those things with a song of praise and thanksgiving begins to break the strongholds of fear, doubt, and confusion, that the enemy tries to bring. Also, getting some victory stories in scripture and reading them is very helpful. When we begin to declare the awesomeness of God, and magnify Him, giving Him all the glory and honor for what he has done, HE GIVES US THE STRENGTH WE NEED TO FIGHT! This is exactly what Nehemiah told the children of Israel as they were trying to rebuild the city of Jerusalem in hostile territory with their enemies taunting them. I would recommend that each of you read Nehemiah 4 and let it be an encouragement to you in seasons of warfare. Here’s what the enemy said, and Nehemiah’s reply: 11 Our enemies said, “They will not know or see us until we are among them, kill them and put a stop to the work.” 12 When the Jews who lived near them came, they said to us ten times (repeatedly), “From every place you turn, they will come up against us.” 13 So I stationed armed men behind the wall in the lowest places, at the open positions [where it was least protected]; and I stationed the people in families with their swords, spears, and bows. 14 When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles and officials and the rest of the people: “Do not be afraid of them; [confidently] remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and [with courage from Him] fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and for your homes.” (Nehemiah 4:11-14 AMP) My beloved, the enemy wants to PUT A STOP TO THE WORK! He is relentless. We must NOT give in to his repeated taunts. -Do not be afraid.
-Confidently remember the Lord who is GREAT AND AWESOME
-Fight with courage from the Lord for your family, church, business, etc..
-Do NOT set your sword down.
-Guard the least protected areas.
-Do NOT leave your post, or stop responding to the trumpet call for corporate worship (church).
18 Every builder had his sword secured at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet [to summon the troops] stood at my side. 19 I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall, far from one another. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather to us there. Our God will fight for us.” (Nehemiah 4:16-20 AMP) There will be times when we feel separated from each other in the work, but the trumpet call of worship brings us together so that we can receive instruction and strength. There is a corporate anointing that releases the armies of heaven on our behalf. We must not forsake the assembling of ourselves together in church. One of the greatest tactics of the enemy during times of warfare is to separate people from each other and get them to stop coming together for corporate worship and instruction. Let’s not abandon our post. Let’s stay armed and ready. Let’s respond to the call for worship and prayer, and remember that our GOD WILL FIGHT FOR US! We shall prevail! I love you all! PV
